A new Syngenta Professional Pest Management App now provides pest controllers with all the information, advice and record keeping to get the best out of products, and offer a fully professional service to their customers.
New App keeps operators up to date on the move

With smartphones and tablets now an essential tool for busy pest professionals, this new App provides instant access to essential information to make better decisions on what to treat and how, reports Syngenta Business Manager, Daniel Lightfoot.

Download the free App from the
App Store or Google Play

“It’s essential for PCOs to keep up to date with the latest information on all product use and guidelines; the App ensures they always have the information readily to hand,” he advised. “The technology delivers a highly professional service increasingly demanded by today’s customers.”

Built into the App is a convenient and easy to use record keeping facility, enabling technicians to record precisely what has been used and where. “Accurate record keeping is an essential part of efficient business operation, as well as for crucial regulatory compliance,” highlighted Daniel.

“The report can be easily linked into office systems, as well as the option to email a professional report direct to the customer, including label information where required, for their confidence and peace of mind.” Treatment reports are held in the App for quick reference on follow up visits.

All the information on statutory product label and safety data sheets are conveniently held within the App and instantly accessible. Information on available products has been fully customised to the UK.

It also provides advice tips and guidelines on best use of products, application rates and there’s a quick calculator for the amount of product required to treat different levels of pest infestation. Where appropriate, the App can provide information on tank mixes and spray volumes, for example.

Short instructional and practical videos give guidance on what to look out for when assessing pest infestations, along with advice on how to treat in different situations.

Watch the video below for a demo of how the App works.

“With the exciting prospect of adding new products to the Syngenta range over the coming year, the App will update automatically with information and best use guidelines for their use right from the outset,” added Daniel.
