More than 150 pest professionals have already taken part in the British Pest Control Association’s (BPCA) “Future of Pest Management Survey 2025” – but the Association said many more are needed to help protect the industry’s professional toolkit.
The national survey takes around 25 minutes to complete and is open to all pest management professionals, whether or not they’re BPCA members.
BPCA communications manager, Scott Johnstone, said: “If you do one thing to support professional pest management this year, make it completing the survey. It only takes 25 minutes, and every response strengthens our evidence base and helps us protect the tools, products and professionalism that keep this industry moving.”
Protecting the professional toolkit
The first Future of Pest Management survey, carried out in 2023, gave BPCA some of the most valuable data ever collected on the state of the pest management profession.
It helped shape policy work, informed training and resource development, and strengthened the Association’s case when meeting regulators and government departments.
Now, two years on, BPCA is refreshing the research to capture how the sector is adapting to regulatory change, product availability, sustainability demands and new technology.
Win an iPad
Everyone who completes the survey will have the option to enter a prize draw to win an iPad (11th generation). Entry is optional, and anonymous responses are welcome. The survey closes in late December 2025.
BPCA chief executive Rosina Robson said: “The insights from our last survey were instrumental in shaping how we represent the sector.
“By taking part again, you’ll help us ensure pest management continues to have a strong, evidence-based voice in discussions that affect your work.”
