BPCA is encouraging pest management employers to attend a member-only Keynote webinar on the new Employment Rights Bill.
The online session takes place on Wednesday, July 8, from 12.30pm to 2.00pm, and is free for BPCA members.
The extended training session will be delivered by HR and legal experts from Shakespeare Martineau, who will explain what the Bill means for pest management business owners, managers and employers.
Topics will include flexible working, predictable working arrangements, contracts, holiday pay, zero-hour contracts, dismissal procedures, probation periods, grievances and disciplinary processes.
The session will also look at how employers can update internal policies and documentation, avoid common mistakes and reduce the risk of non-compliance.
BPCA said the webinar is designed to help members understand the practical impact of the proposed changes and prepare their businesses with confidence.
The event is part of the BPCA Keynote series, which provides longer, more interactive online training sessions for members.
Members attending live can claim 1.5 BPCA Registered CPD points, while BASIS PROMPT points are still to be confirmed.
The webinar is available to people employed by BPCA member companies only. BPCA said that non-member bookings will be cancelled.
