The British Pest Control Association has released a Code of Best Practice for the control of wood boring insects.

The association explained that a BPCA Code is a set of written rules which explains how people working in our industry should behave in a particular situation. Members must abide by Codes of Best Practice in their day-to-day work.

BPCA technical compliance manager, Natalie Bungay, said: “Treating structural wood boring insects is a highly specialist activity.

“We’ve worked closely with members to produce this Code to help members stay on the right side of the law and keep customers safe.”
