The British Pest Register CPD scheme has more than doubled its membership since April 2025. The CPD scheme is the brainchild of Sean Mooney, the owner of Kill Line Pest Control and Pest Software.
Mr Mooney said that the British Pest Register CPD scheme now has more than 600 members and is gaining traction.
“We are also in the process of building a section where providers can put training courses on the platform,” Mr Mooney said. “A manufacturer that has a training course or webinar can put it on the site; they’ll be able to add videos and will be able to ask multiple choice questions.”
He highlighted that the British Pest Register CPD scheme was launched and developed with no advertising.
“I feel like it represents a part of the industry that have been forgotten about; the one-man bands, the small outfits, the people who probably don’t get invited on to or don’t take part in any committees, or don’t have a say in the progress of our industry,” Mr Mooney said.
NPTA members can join the British Pest Register for £34 per year, instead of the usual £45.
