The National Pest Technicians Association has launched NPTA Industry Pulse, a new six-monthly initiative designed to listen to the people who know our industry best: those who work in it every day.
Rather than taking a one-size-fits-all approach, NPTA has created two dedicated surveys, recognising that business owners and technicians often have different experiences, priorities and perspectives.
NPTA Business Pulse
If you own, manage or lead a pest management business, NPTA would like to hear from you.
The Business Pulse explores the commercial challenges and opportunities facing our industry, including business confidence, recruitment, regulation, growth and the future priorities for the NPTA.

NPTA Technician Pulse
If you’re a pest technician, this survey is for you.
The Technician Pulse focuses on your experiences working in the profession, including training, career development, recognition, public perception and the issues that affect you most.

Kevin Lawrenson, NPTA chief executive, said: “The results will provide the NPTA with valuable insight into the views of both businesses and technicians, helping us better understand the challenges facing our industry today and the opportunities for tomorrow.
“We’ll publish the findings in September, sharing the key themes, highlighting the industry’s priorities and, importantly, explaining where the NPTA will focus its efforts as a result.”
Mr Lawrenson continued: “This isn’t just about collecting feedback; it’s about ensuring the industry’s voice helps shape the future of our profession. Whether you’re leading a business or working on the frontline, your opinion matters.”
Both surveys close on Sunday, August 31.
