While 2027 might still feel a long way off, BPCA is encouraging pest professionals to get PPC Live On Tour into their diaries early.
Eight free, full-day events will take place across the UK next year, bringing practical training, expert speakers, debates, suppliers and plenty of CPD opportunities closer to pest professionals.
If you’re wondering whether it’s worth booking something that’s still months away, BPCA has given eight reasons to register now.
Get it in the diary before the diary fills up
Registering early means you can block the date now and plan your workload around it, rather than trying to squeeze PPC Live On Tour into an already busy week.
Places are limited
PPC Live On Tour is free to attend, but capacity isn’t unlimited.
Registering early means you’re not relying on a place still being available once the programme is announced and everyone starts comparing diaries.
If you know you’d like to attend your nearest event, there’s little reason to leave it until the last minute.
Start planning your 2027 CPD now
CPD is much easier when you plan it rather than chase it.
PPC Live On Tour gives pest professionals the opportunity to collect a significant chunk of their annual CPD in a single day, alongside practical learning they can take back to work.
For example, each event is allocated 7.5 CPD points.
Make it a team day
It doesn’t have to be one technician disappearing for the day.
PPC Live On Tour is free, with breakfast, lunch, and refreshments included, so businesses can bring several team members and turn it into a shared training day.
That could include technicians, surveyors, managers, trainees or people who are completely new to pest management.
Everyone hears the same information, meets the same suppliers and comes back with plenty to talk about.
It’s more than a local breakfast morning
BPCA has taken the things people value about PPC Live and combined them with the accessibility of its regional events.
Each stop will include hands-on training, expert technical and business speakers, live debates and panel discussions, Association updates and a larger mini-exhibition.
And each programme will be shaped around the pests, challenges and issues that matter to professionals in that part of the country.
Learn something you can actually use
The aim is practical professional development, not death by PowerPoint.
BPCA’s in-person events have previously covered subjects including drain investigations, pest proofing, trapping, bird management and rats moving through drainage systems into buildings.
The intention is that you leave with ideas, knowledge or techniques you can use when you’re back on site.
Meet suppliers without waiting for a major trade show
Each PPC Live On Tour stop will feature an exhibition of pest management products, equipment and technology from BPCA Manufacturer and Distributor members.
It gives you time to handle products, compare options, ask technical questions, and speak directly with the people who make and supply the kit you use.
Meet BPCA and have your say
You don’t need to be a BPCA member to attend.
In fact, if you’re curious about BPCA but haven’t joined, PPC Live On Tour is a good opportunity to meet the people behind the Association and see what it does for yourself.
BPCA staff will be available throughout the day, including technical specialists who can talk through pest management questions and challenges.
There’ll also be plenty of opportunities to contribute to discussions and tell BPCA what you think the sector needs.
