As NPTA prepares for PestTech 2026, it would like to say a huge thank you to the businesses and organisations supporting its Have a Coffee on Us initiative.
It’s a simple idea, but one that NPTA believes has real value.
Kevin Lawrenson, NPTA chief executive, said: “PestTech is always a busy day, with visitors exploring the exhibition, attending seminars, discovering new products and catching up with colleagues.
“But sometimes, taking five minutes to enjoy a coffee, catch up with an old friend or strike up a conversation with someone new can be just as valuable as anything else happening throughout the day. And thanks to the generosity of our sponsors, we’re able to offer visitors that opportunity once again.”
Mr Lawrenson said NPTA is incredibly grateful to the following 11 businesses and organisations for supporting Have a Coffee on Us at PestTech 2026:
- Syngenta;
- Anticimex;
- Pest and Property Solutions;
- Killgerm;
- HF Pest & Bird Environmental;
- Wade Environmental;
- BASIS;
- NPTA;
- Lodi UK;
- 1env Solutions;
- Five Star Pest Control.

Mr Lawrenson said: “Each of these organisations has chosen to get behind an initiative that is about much more than simply providing a free cup of coffee.
“Their generosity helps us create opportunities for people to connect, share experiences and strengthen relationships across our industry.”
More than just a cup of coffee
Have a Coffee on Us also forms part of NPTA’s wider commitment to encouraging conversations around mental health and wellbeing within the pest management industry.
Mr Lawrenson said: “For many pest professionals, particularly those working independently or spending much of their working day on the road, opportunities to connect with others can be limited.
“We know that working in pest control can sometimes be a lonely profession, and while we rightly focus on the technical and commercial challenges facing our sector, it’s equally important that we look after the people working within it.”
He continued: “This is why we’re also keen to raise awareness of initiatives such as Andy’s Man Club and Pest Minds, both of which are helping to encourage conversations around mental health and wellbeing.
Andy’s Man Club provides free peer-to-peer support groups for men, while Pest Minds focuses on raising awareness of mental health and wellbeing within the pest management industry.
Mr Lawrenson added: “We recognise that a cup of coffee won’t solve someone’s problems, but sometimes a simple conversation can be the starting point for something much more important.”
