Deadline for ICUP 14 abstract submission extended

The organisers of the next International Conference on Urban Pests (ICUP) wish to thank all those who have already submitted an abstract – but it’s still not too late to make an offer.

The deadline date for offers for the 2014 ICUP event has been extended to 30 September 2013.

All abstracts dealing with the conference themes listed below are welcome:

  • Hygiene pests (cockroaches, ants, bed bugs, house flies, etc.) 
  • Structural pests (termites, etc.) 
  • Vertebrates (rats, mice, pigeons, etc.) 
  • Invasive species (mosquitoes, etc.) 
  • Medical entomology/acarology 
  • Future pest management 
  • Biocide Directives 
  • Natural compounds 
  • Physical methods in pest management

Held once every three years, the next International Conference on Urban Pests (ICUP) is returning to Europe and will be held on 20 – 23 July 2014. The venue is the University of Zá¼rich, Switzerland.

This highly popular, non-profit, conference is the leading international forum for sharing information and ideas on the impact, biology and control of pests in the urban environment. It is attended by entomologists, pest management professionals, and academic and government scientists from around the world.

Delegate registration is also now open and details, including an early bird offer, are all posted on the website at www.icup2014.ch
