NPTA offers Field Biologist training and exams around the country. These courses, presented by experienced biologist and trainer Grahame Turner, receive highly positive feedback.

The two-day courses follow the syllabus of the NPTA Certificated Field Biologist qualification, covering:

- Insect Classification and Identification;
- Stored Product Insect (SPI) Biology;
- Pest Risk Assessments;
- Biologist Inspections;
- Trend Analysis;
- Audit Standards;
- FB Report Writing; and
- Review Meetings

Minimum pre-requisites: L2 Pest Management and two years’ pest management experience.
