BPCA is running a member-only Keynote session on how to build and deliver pest management specifications that meet the expectations of accredited clients.
The online session, Delivering specification-ready pest management, takes place next Thursday (September 17), from 1pm-3pm, and will be led by Paul Westgate of Veritas Pest Consultancy.
The extended session is aimed at pest professionals working with clients in sectors such as food, pharmaceutical and manufacturing, where clear specifications can play an important role in compliance, auditing and contract management.
Using practical examples from real specifications, Mr Westgate will show how pest management businesses can document the key elements of a compliant service, including scope, responsibilities, visit frequency, monitoring methods, risk-based inspections, and trend analysis.
The session will also cover how specifications can align with standards such as BRCGS and SALSA, alongside documentation for monitors, electronic fly killers, treatments, callouts, competence, traceability and due diligence.
Mr Westgate is founder of Veritas Pest Consultancy and regularly delivers BPCA training and event sessions. His background includes food safety auditing, contract management and technical consultancy, with a focus on improving compliance and service quality.
The event forms part of BPCA’s Keynote series, which offers longer, more interactive online training than a standard webinar.
The session is free to employees of BPCA member companies, although places are limited.
