BPCA launches one-hour online learning modules

The British Pest Control Association has launched a number of one-hour online learning modules for members, which can be taken at any time and cost £20 (+VAT) per module.

The BPCA said that these modules will help members to study at their own pace in the award-winning BPCA eLearning site. Study the course materials and take mini-quizzes to check your understanding throughout, the BPCA said.

The modules
Whether you work at height as part of your pest control work or supervise those who do, this Work at Height online training is essential for many pest professionals.

Completing Risk Assessments
Every working environment requires us to be aware of health and safety. If you need to risk-assess your daily activities, your vehicles or sites you visit, then this is the programme for you.

Manual Handling
The BPCA’s Manual Handling online course helps pest control employers ensure that they and their employees are sufficiently trained in the principles and practices of safe manual handling.

Asbestos Awareness
An awareness level introduction to the dangers of working with asbestos. Comply with the law by ensuring that you or your employees are appropriately trained to work safely
