LinkedIn +

The British Pest Control Association is to host a webinar dedicated to zoonoses, early next month.

Zoonotic pathogens may be bacterial, viral or parasitic, or may involve unconventional agents and can spread to humans through direct contact or through food, water or the environment.

The webinar, taking place on Thursday, December 1, from 12.30pm, will be presented by Alex Wade, a director of Wade Environmental.

In this webinar, Mr Wade will explore:

  • Commonly encountered diseases to man and companion animals;
  • Mechanisms of transmission; and
  • The importance of the correct PPE.

This online webinar is free and open to anyone on the BPCA Affiliate Scheme. If you are not currently on the BPCA Affiliate scheme you will be added free of charge (in accordance with BPCA’s privacy policy).
