BPCA said there are only a limited number of places available for its Basingstoke Training Forum, which is taking place on Wednesday, September 30.
The free event at The Apollo Hotel is open to everyone working in, or interested in, professional pest management and will feature a packed day of technical talks, workshops, debate, networking and supplier exhibits.
The agenda includes sessions on fly behaviour, rat pathways from sewers into buildings, bird nests and proofing, alongside a sponsored session from Bell Laboratories.
Darron Pearce of Rattraxs Pest Control Services will present The Underground Highway, Understanding Rat Pathways from Sewer to Sofa, while Richard Faulkner of Envu will explore whether bird nests really are “the root of all evil”.
The afternoon will include a panel debate on Pest Management in 2030, with Paul Westgate of Veritas Pest Consultancy, Michael Sims of Bell Laboratories and Peter Bowers-Davis of Integrum Services among the panellists.
Delegates will also take part in two hands-on sessions, rotating between practical proofing with BPCA’s John Horsley and Bell Laboratories’ Race to IQ session with Mr Sims.
The day starts with breakfast rolls and exhibitor networking from 8am, with further networking opportunities over refreshments and lunch.
The event is sponsored by Bell Laboratories and runs until 4pm.
Attendance is free and open to business owners, technicians, surveyors, support staff, trainees and anyone else interested in the sector.
Delegates can earn 7.5 BPCA Registered CPD points and six BASIS PROMPT points.
