A world class programme, featuring speakers, researchers, exhibitors and industry experts from across the globe, has been drawn together for PestWorld East 2025.

This is to be held between April 15-16, 2025, at the W Dubai – The Palm, Dubai, United Arab Emirates.

Held bi-annually, PestWorld East is organised by the National Pest Management Association (NPMA) in partnership with Ecovar, the leading supplier of pest management solutions. The aim is to unite pest professionals from around the world, but particularly from the Middle East, Africa, South Asia and India.

Dominique Stumpf, chief executive of NPMA, said: “In today’s interconnected world, pest management challenges transcend borders and demands innovative and collaborative solutions. PestWorld East will provide credible, unbiased information from legal, technical, business and customer-oriented perspectives.

“We are delighted to have drawn together a line-up of world class speakers, a bustling exhibition with exhibitors coming from across Europe, USA and the Far East, plus time within the programme for networking and socialising.”

Speakers from across the globe
The 2025 conference programme focuses on emerging technologies, sustainable practices and regional-specific solutions. Speakers include Dr Faith Oi, University of Florida, USA, who will provide an update on termite management.

Dr Chow-Yang Lee, University of California Riverside, USA will present the latest research on cockroach control, whilst the public health crisis of urban rodent infestations and how to stop them will be debated by Dr Claudia Riegel from the City of New Orleans Mosquito, Termite and Rodent Control Board.

From Europe, the ever-growing use of rodent monitoring equipment will be addressed by Hakan Kjelberg from Anticimex, Sweden whilst overcoming the challenges faced in pest management commercial accounts will be revealed by Marc Aubry from Ecolab, France.

Exhibition time
Plenty of time has been built into the programme for delegates to visit the exhibition and to find out what’s new. Over 50 exhibitors from the Middle East, across Europe and the Far East will be present.

Global Pest Management Coalition to meet
In advance of the event, on the afternoon of April 14, there will be a meeting of the Global Pest Management Coalition (GPMC). All those interested in learning more about its activities are more than welcome. Also, on the second day of PestWorld East, there will also be an update on the GPMC activities.

PestWorld East 2025 details, covering registration, the programme, exhibition, hotel accommodation, which is available at a group rate, can be found here.
