Nurture Pest Control said its two-day Field Biologist courses are proving very popular, and feedback is extremely positive.
Grahame Turner, Nurture’s training academy manager, said: “No two-day comprehensive course was available before the first of these was held last November. And the regional RSPH L2 and L3 courses are also very much in demand.”
The RSPH L2 Award in Pest Management courses are held as two days per week over three weeks.
Mr Turner said: “This allows candidates to concentrate on one topic at a time and do the one-hour exam for that module at the end of the two days, rather than doing an intensive week course with a three-hour long exam at the end.
“Candidates say this allows them to learn and retain the knowledge for each topic better, rather than being overwhelmed with trying to learn about vertebrates and invertebrates and health and safety and legislation all at the same time.”
