1,609 delegates attended PestEx 2024

PestEx 2024 is now under way and the British Pest Control Association has put together a stellar seminar schedule and list of exhibitors for the two-day event.

The Spotlight Theatre puts pest professionals at the heart of the PestEx agenda. This year the Spotlight Theatre will see panels made up of pest controllers, manufacturer representatives and the BPCA team, who will discuss and debate a number of challenges facing the industry. Topics this year will include resistance in insects, pest control marketing and PR, post-EU chemical regulation, behavioural resistance, and digital pest control and AI.

Day two in the Spotlight Theatre will see pest controllers showcasing their work by sharing case studies about how they deal with difficult sites, customers and species.

Come and meet the team behind Pest magazine – we’re on stand 44

Technical Theatre
In the same spirit, the Technical Theatre is full of topics requested by BPCA members. Sessions in the Technical Theatre will include a vast range of topics, including rodent behaviour, the current situation with Asian hornets in the UK, pest control and mental health, fly management in the waste industry, rodent trapping, bed bugs in 2024 and common stored product insects.

CPD points
BPCA registered
Each seminar session will be worth one CPD point with a maximum of seven points available per day. Any other meetings or conversations with exhibitors can be logged as unstructured CPD in your CPD diary.

BASIS PROMPT
One point for each seminar and two points for attending the show. Members are able to gain a maximum of seven points per day (five seminars and two for attending the show). Include your CPD number when you register, to ensure BPCA can scan your seminar attendance.
