The National Pest Technicians Association (NPTA), in partnership with Syngenta, has announced the relaunch of the Syngenta NPTA 5<25 Professional Futures training initiative.
Now in its second year, the programme offers five young pest professionals under the age of 25 the opportunity to gain a fully funded RSPH Level 2 Award in Pest Management, along with additional support designed to accelerate their careers.
Following a highly successful first round, which attracted attention both nationally and internationally, this initiative continues to build momentum as a benchmark for professional development in the pest control industry.
Open to individuals under 25 who are employed by or are members of an NPTA-registered business, the programme provides a fully funded RSPH Level 2 Award in Pest Management; access to additional NPTA training and development opportunities; business and professional mentoring from respected industry leaders; and ongoing support from the NPTA technical team throughout the process.

It is about opening doors, offering support, and helping to build a future workforce the industry can be proud of. We’re excited to see another group of talented young professionals take this important next step.

Applications are now open and will close on Friday, July 4. Candidates are required to complete a short application form and explain what gaining the qualification would mean for their future in the pest control industry.
