News from INDIA at Disinfestando 2017

The INDIA stand at Disinfestando was thronging with people throughout the exhibition opening hours. The hospitality was very generous but visitors had primarily come to catch-up on all the new developments on display for the first time.
All new…
A considerable amount of effort has been going on behind the scenes at the INDIA offices and the results were on display for the first time on their stand. Since the acquisition of INDIA by the Induchim Group in 2014, general manager, Debora Cazzaro, has been working towards the release of these new items.

First to be seen is a new logo. This reflects the previous logo, but it has been updated and simplified.

As Debora explains: “We wanted to create a fresh new feel to the logo, whilst still retaining the key design elements, which customers have come to know and respect.”

New literature and website
Also new is the website. This details the partnership approach INDIA aim to extend to their customers and displays the range of products available. The site, although currently only in Italian, will very soon be in English too.

Accompanying this is a new printed catalogue detailing the rodenticides, insecticides and natural products available.

On the stand visitors had fun experiencing a 3D virtual tour of the catalogue.

Behind the scenes
Whilst the logo, website and brochures are obvious, behind the scenes there has been a considerable investment in support facilities. Back office support has been strengthened and two new training rooms created. These are being used for training courses for customers. “We have already run a specialist training course on bed bugs. It was a great success with 180 delegates attending. We are very keen to work alongside our customers, to be with them every step of the way,” says Debora.

In their home Italian market, INDIA sell a range of their own products direct to pest control customers via 10 agents located throughout Italy.

On a wider stage
For their numerous overseas customers, the expertise built up not only within INDIA but now also capitalising on the resources of the Induchim Group, is put to good use offering a range of formulations and products manufactured under private label.

In addition to manufacturing capacity, INDIA can also offer companies help with their product registrations utilising their regulatory experience gained from generating the data packages for the registrations they hold around the world.

In short – by listening to the needs of their customers INDIA can combine its chemical and biochemical expertise with the demands of the pests  – knowledge and care – neatly summed up in the INDIA motto of Conscious Care.
