Agrilaser products were once again the star products on the PestFix stand at PestTech 2016. Not only was there a constant stream of visitors to the stand, but top of the range Agrilaser Autonomic collected first place in the Pest Best Product of the year award 2016.
Launched only a year ago by PestFix at PestTech 2015, interest in the Agrilaser Autonomic has been exceptional and it is certainly making its mark with customers in a wide variety of situations.

The principal of repelling birds with a laser beam has been inspired by nature.

Birds perceive an approaching laser beam as a physical danger. It triggers the bird’s natural survival instincts, causing them to fly away.

Following a sustained and continuous presence of the moving laser beam, 24 hours a day, seven days a week, a previously infested area becomes free of birds as their behaviour adapts to the presence of a perceived threat.

PestFix director, Dan England, explains: “The Agrilaser Autonomic bird dispersal system is effective on all species of bird. It’s silent, offering non-lethal and chemical-free pest control.

“Applications include: industrial roofs, solar panel arrays, astroturf pitches, sports stadiums, retail parks, listed building facades, public buildings, warehouses, farm buildings and even unmanned offshore platforms and gas terminals,” explains Dan.

Buy or lease?
PestFix operates a try-before-you-buy scheme. The machine can be bought outright, or on a three to 12 month lease. Installation and commissioning is via PestFix or one of its approved installation partners. Or, get trained and become a trained installer.

Become a trained installer

The installer’s one-day training course run by PestFix gives delegates the confidence to survey, sell, install and maintain Agrilaser Autonomic equipment. Courses for up to six staff can be run at a company’s premises or go along to one of the forthcoming regional training days.
