Free training material now available from CRRU website
The first of the free training materials from the Campaign for Responsible Rodenticide use (CRRU) UK have been published on the CRRU website. The material is being made available in support of the UK Rodenticide Stewardship Regime.

Compulsory CPD for NPTA members from 2019
From 2019 all members of the National Pest Technicians Association (NPTA) will have to be members of a Continuing Professional Development scheme such as BASIS PROMPT.

Pest controllers get clued-up at NPTA road show
Members of the National Pest Technicians Association (NPTA) in the Midlands who came along to the Association’s road show at Eastwood Hall on Wednesday 25 May got great value for their membership money. Pest associate editor Helen Riby was in the audience and wondered why there weren’t more at the event.

NPTA discuss compulsory CPD at AGM
The idea of forcing members to belong to a recognised Continuing Professional Development (CPD) scheme (such as BASIS Prompt) prompted a lively discussion at the National Pest Management Association’s annual general meeting (AGM), held at NPTA House last night (18 January).

PelGar ensures a new era for popular training facility
Church Farm, the well-known pest management training centre located near Basingstoke in Hampshire is now being run with the backing of PelGar International. This will support the future development of the site which, to date, has been managed by Dr Steve Havers.
