Deadline approaching for early bird registrations to ICUP 2014 conference

If you are thinking of attending the 8th International Conference on Urban Pests (ICUP) to be held in Zurich between 20-23 July, book before the end of January and save nearly £170.

The preliminary programme detailing not only the invited, but also the papers offered by those performing research in this area, has just been published and can be seen on the ICUP website

As to be expected, papers will be presented from leading academics from around the world. Insect pests to be covered include bed bugs, mosquitoes, flies, ants, termites and cockroaches along with vertebrate pests including rodents. There are also sessions covering specific treatment techniques, heat treatments being one.

The delegate registration fee of Swiss Francs 550 (£367) includes admission to all the scientific sessions, a set of conference proceedings, welcome reception, coffee breaks and three lunches. After the end of January the delegate rate rises to Swiss Francs 660 (£434).

A special reduced rate student registration is available at Swiss Francs 300 (£200) rising to Swiss Francs 350 (£234) from February onwards.
