Laurence Barnard, country business manager at BASF Pest Control Solutions, reflects on the strong reception at PestEx for the new Seclira fly bait
PestEx was a fantastic show and clearly highlighted the appetite for innovation within the pest control sector. The anticipation surrounding our soon-to-launch Seclira fly bait has been remarkable, underlining just how rare new product introductions have become in recent years – many pest controllers are more accustomed to seeing products withdrawn than launched.
My colleague Jeferson de Andrade delivered an engaging and insightful presentation on ‘Revolutionising fly control with Seclira fly bait’, attracting a large audience and reinforcing the need and want for fresh solutions and tools within the industry.
Our stand saw a constant flow of visitors throughout both days, with pest controllers keen to ask questions and learn more about this new offering. Although registration for the UK is still pending, the level of interest demonstrates a very clear demand.
Overall, showcasing Seclira fly bait at PestEx has been a real success. Even ahead of its official launch, the excitement across the sector has been evident – we’re expecting great things.
We’ll let Pest readers know as soon as it’s available to purchase later this year.
