BASIS has announced that Corrina Urquhart has resigned from her position as cChief executive due to illness.
BASIS chairman William Burgess said: “We thank Corrina for her great achievements in her time with us. She has overseen significant developments within our organisation and, in particular, strengthening our engagement with key stakeholders and the sector.
“We wish Corrina a full and speedy recovery to good health.”
Mr Burgess said that BASIS has appointed Mark Spurdens as an interim chief operating officer to run the organisation, while the recruitment process for a new permanent chief executive gets underway.
