The British Pest Control Association (BPCA) has opened recruitment for a new head of membership and technical, a senior, field-based role with responsibility for member engagement, technical support and compliance across the UK pest management sector.
The postholder will lead BPCA’s membership and technical teams and take overall responsibility for membership development, assessments, quality assurance and the delivery of member support services.
The role also sits on BPCA’s senior management team, helping shape organisational strategy, policy and operational standards.
The position is permanent and full-time, with extensive UK travel and regular overnight stays. Salary is competitive, starting from £60,000, depending on skills and experience.
BPCA said the role will suit an experienced professional with strong communication skills, a clear understanding of pest management, and a commitment to professionalism, ethics and public health protection.
The association is also encouraging applications from current and former members of the Armed Forces, highlighting the transferability of military skills into senior trade association roles.
