The National Pest Technicians Association (NPTA) has announced the appointment of Jasmin Emmerson as chair and Hugh Radford as vice chair of the association.
Both appointments will be formally confirmed at the NPTA board meeting tomorrow (January 21).
Ms Emmerson brings extensive experience, insight, and leadership to the role of chair, alongside a strong commitment to professionalism, inclusivity, and raising standards across the pest control sector.
Her appointment reflects the NPTA’s continued focus on strong governance, representative leadership, and supporting pest controllers at every stage of their careers.
Mr Radford’s appointment as vice chair further strengthens the board, bringing additional depth of industry knowledge and strategic oversight. He has a proven track record of supporting best practice and collaboration within the sector and will play a key role in supporting the chair and wider board as the association moves forward.
Ms Emmerson said: “It is a real privilege to be appointed chair of the NPTA and I’m very thankful for the confidence placed in me by the board.
“I’m looking forward to spending time listening to members, working closely with colleagues across the sector, and helping to ensure the association continues to feel welcoming, supportive, and relevant to those it represents. I’m excited to work alongside Hugh, the board, and the NPTA team as we move forward together.”
