BPCA is inviting pest professionals to put their football knowledge to the test as the British Pest Control Association (BPCA) brings back its Fantasy Premier League competition for the 2026/27 season.
The league is open to everyone working in pest management, including BPCA members and non-members, technicians, office teams and anyone else who fancies their chances of finishing above their colleagues.
Twenty teams took part last season, with BPCA hoping to grow the competition further this year.
Entry costs £5, with 100% of the money raised going to anti-poverty charity Trussell, BPCA’s chosen charity.
The manager finishing top of the BPCA mini-league will receive their choice of a £100 Classic Football Shirts gift card or £100 Amazon gift card.
Fantasy Premier League gives each manager a fictional £100 million budget to build a squad of 15 Premier League players. Teams score points throughout the season based on how those players perform in real matches.
BPCA CPD administrator and football correspondent Niall Fairbrother said: “It’s a bit of friendly competition between some pest companies and the staff team for a great cause, with a decent prize at the end.
“Get your team in, challenge your colleagues and make 2026/27 our biggest league yet.”
The money raised will support Trussell, a community of food banks working to end hunger in the UK.
Pest professionals have until 3pm on Friday, August 21, to register for the BPCA league. After registering and making the £5 donation, entrants will receive instructions by email explaining how to join the private mini-league.
The competition will run throughout the Premier League season, with the winner confirmed after the final gameweek onSunday, May 30.
