The British Pest Control Association (BPCA) is taking the next leg of its upgraded Training Forums to Basingstoke, Belfast, Yorkshire and Essex this autumn, with full-day events offering pest professionals more opportunities to learn, network and pick up CPD.
The expanded in-person format has been designed to give technicians and business owners more from a day away from the tools, with expert technical talks, interactive workshops, mini-debates and a mini-exhibition showcasing pest management products and innovations.
The next four dates are Basingstoke on Wednesday, September 30; Belfast on Wednesday, October 14; Yorkshire on Wednesday, November 18; and Essex on Wednesday, December 9.
BPCA members and non-members are welcome, and the association is encouraging pest management companies to bring more of their teams along rather than treating the Forums as an event for a single delegate.
Lauren Day, BPCA events manager, said: “We wanted the Training Forums to feel like a genuinely useful day out of the business, with enough variety that technicians, managers and business owners can all take something away.
“The new format gives us more room for practical discussion, audience participation and networking, while keeping the technical content people expect from BPCA. We’d really encourage companies to bring the whole team if they can. It’s a free day of CPD, a chance to catch up with the sector and, importantly, we’ll feed you as well.”
Each event will include association and industry updates alongside the technical programme, with CPD opportunities available throughout the day.
Breakfast rolls, lunch, tea, coffee and refreshments are included free of charge.
The Basingstoke Training Forum will take place at The Apollo Hotel, Basingstoke from 8am-4pm on September 30. The event carries 7.5 BPCA Registered CPD points.
Places at all four Training Forums are free but limited, and advance booking is required.
