The NPTA Board has completed a review of the chairperson and vice chairperson roles, updating them to ensure they are fit for purpose as the association enters the next phase of its development.
As the NPTA continues to evolve and strengthen its focus on representing pest controllers and pest control businesses across the UK, the board recognised the importance of ensuring its leadership roles reflect the demands, responsibilities and direction of the organisation moving forward.
Following this review, members of the existing NPTA Board are now being invited to put themselves forward for the roles of chairperson and vice chairperson. This internal process supports continuity, strong governance and leadership that is aligned with the association’s values and strategic objectives.
Once expressions of interest have been received, the full board will vote on the appointments.
Subject to the outcome of the vote, the NPTA intends to formally announce the chairperson and vice chairperson appointments in January, following its next scheduled board meeting.
NPTA chief executive Kevin Lawrenson said: “As the NPTA moves into its next phase, it was important to take time to review the chairperson and vice chairperson roles to ensure they are aligned with where the association is heading. what the board are doing through this process is putting the right leadership structure in place to support our members and the wider industry.”
Further updates will be shared with members once the process has been completed and the appointments have been formally confirmed.
