The National Pest Technicians Association is to run three RSPH Level 2 Award Safe Use of Rodenticides courses next week at its head office in Eastwood, Nottingham.
This nationally recognised one-day qualification provides professional users with the certification required to demonstrate compliance with the UK Rodenticide Stewardship Regime. Completion of the course enables delegates to purchase and use professional use anticoagulant rodenticides safely and responsibly.

- Site inspection techniques;
- Legislation and legal responsibilities;
- Non-chemical control methods;
- Safe and effective chemical control;
- Reporting and risk assessment; and
- Environmental impacts of rodenticides.

Exam & Certification
The exam will be taken on the same day as the course, giving you immediate opportunity to demonstrate your knowledge and competence. This is in the form of a one-hour multiple choice exam.
Candidates must bring valid photo ID and have a good understanding of written English.
The exam has to be marked by RSPH before certificates are issues to demonstrate competence. Certificates are usually back within 10 days.
