NPTA said the Armed Forces community brings a wealth of transferable skills including discipline, reliability, leadership, and problem-solving all of which are highly valued in pest control.
To help NPTA members tap into this talent pool, the association has partnered with the Career Transition Partnership (CTP) to support members who recruit service leavers and ex-military personnel.
Through this initiative, members can access benefits such as:
- 50% funding towards RSPH Level 2 training;
- Refunded employer National Insurance contributions for recruits;
- Advertising of vacancies via the NPTA Careers page; and
- Direct support from CTP advisers to help shape job adverts and connect with highly capable candidates.
