The National Pest Technicians Association (NPTA) has unveiled a revitalised range of industry membership options, aimed at strengthening partnerships with manufacturers, distributors, and training providers.
Kevin Lawrenson, NPTA chief executive, said: “With 1,050 active members and a growth rate of 5% since the start of 2025, NPTA is proud to be the UK’s largest member-based trade association for pest control, representing a diverse and expanding network of businesses.”
Mr Lawrenson said NPTA events consistently attract strong attendance and engagement.
“The most recent ‘On the Road’ days welcomed representatives from over 140 companies and more than 200 delegates, while PestTech 2024 drew a crowd of more than 1,300 attendees and featured 74 exhibition stands,” he said.
“PestTech 2025 is already in development and promises to be an even more dynamic showcase for the sector.”
Mr Lawrenson said that NPTA has revamped its two tailored membership options for industry partners, ‘Company Membership’ and ‘Subscribing Membership’, to better align them with members, enabling them to more effectively connect, contribute and collaborate with our membership.
Company Membership is priced at £545.83 (+VAT) for full year membership.
“This entry-level membership is ideal for manufacturers, distributors, and training providers who support the pest control sector but do not carry out pest control services directly,” Mr Lawrenson said.
Subscribing Membership is priced at £906.67 (+VAT) for full year membership.
Mr Lawrenson said: “We recognise the vital role our suppliers and training partners play in keeping the pest control industry moving forward. Historically the NPTA hasn’t promoted itself as effectively as it could, and we acknowledge that the benefits of membership haven’t always been clearly communicated.
“These refreshed membership options are part of our ongoing commitment to change that. We’re focused on being more transparent, more engaging, and more supportive of those who help power our industry.”
