PestTech 2026 gets underway in Milton Keynes

PestTech 2026 has opened this morning, with more stands, more seminars, more CPD points available and an encouraging number of pre-registered visitors.

The 33rd edition of PestTech is taking place at Arena MK – for the last time – in Milton Keynes and features a number of seminars and presentations, with CPD points available. On the show floor, there are more than 80 exhibitors.

This year, NPTA has added several new elements, which have been developed so that delegates consider staying longer than they normally do.

Building on last year’s record-breaking PestTech, Kevin Lawrenson, NPTA chief executive, said that this year’s event will offer delegates more reasons to stay longer than they normally do.

Mr Lawrenson said that in addition to the seminars, this year’s PestTech will feature a Workshop and Special Presentation (WASP) area on the first floor of Arena MK.

Confirmed presentation topics include face-fitting tests, EFK & LED retrofitting, sprayer servicing, bed bugs and drains.

At this year’s PestTech, the NPTA stand will be split into four sections that will cover training and events, membership, technical and PestTech 2027.

The BASIS PROMPT Knowledge Trail will return to PestTech 2026, offering visitors another opportunity to expand their knowledge while learning valuable CPD points.

Designed to encourage meaningful conversations with exhibitors, the Knowledge Trail takes delegates around participating stands where they will complete a short series of questions based on products, services or best practice.

Successfully completing each Knowledge Trail activity earns one BASIS PROMPT CPD point, with a maximum of four CPD points available through the trail.

In addition, all BASIS PROMPT members attending PestTech can claim two CPD points for general attendance by visiting the BASIS PROMPT stand to register on the day.

Out on the show floor, be wary of a shark attack! The Shark Rodeo will take pride of place on the Defender Bird Spikes stand.

Making a welcome return to PestTech after the success of last year is In The Mix, sponsored by Killgerm.

Attendees of PestTech 2026 will have the opportunity to do some head scratching: in a joint effort between the NPTA and Barrettine Environmental Health, the seminar entrance has been modified to display high resolution images for you to identify.

“Your skill and experience will allow navigation through this display, then visit the Barrettine stand (D1) for a complementary gift of a Barrettine Pest Technicians Manual, while stocks last.”

Mr Lawrenson added: “See insects like you’ve seen them before.”
