There was much celebrating on the Barrettine Environmental Healths stand at PestTech when the results of the inaugural Pest Best Product of the Year were announced.
Not only did Barrettine claim the top prize with Romax Rat CP, but their Romax Mouse bait box came in third.
Voted by readers in second place was Maxforce Quantum ant gel from Bayer Environmental Science.

In total, 12 products recently launched in the UK were nominated by readers as the products that have helped them most in their day-to-day professional activities. To review those nominated click here. Voting by readers was brisk, with the majority of votes coming in via email. Commenting on their triumph, Barrettine marketing manager, Chris Parmiter said: “We’re delighted that Rat CP has been awarded the first ever Pest award. From the incredible customer feedback we received after sending out the first tubs last year, we knew we had a product which was special. But to be voted as the best product with so much competition is a great honour.
