The British Pest Control Association (BPCA) is inviting pest professionals and business owners across the UK to share their views in the latest Future of pest management survey.
First carried out in 2023, the research provided some of the most valuable data ever collected about the pest management profession. The findings have since helped BPCA shape its policy work, direct research priorities and strengthen its evidence base when engaging with regulators.
Two years on, BPCA is refreshing that picture – and is calling on technicians, managers and business owners to take part.
The results will be used to:
- Protect professional tools and techniques by providing robust, data-led evidence for lobbying and advocacy;
- Guide BPCA’s strategic priorities and identify where members need more support; and
- Improve training, resources and services for pest professionals.
Rosina Robson, BPCA chief executive, said: “The insights from our 2023 survey were instrumental in shaping our lobbying and research priorities. Now we need to refresh that picture.
“Every technician, business owner and manager who takes part gives us a stronger evidence base to represent the industry with confidence and credibility.”
The 2025 survey takes around 25 minutes to complete and covers working practices, business challenges, regulation, sustainability and the future of pest management.
As an incentive, participants will have the chance to enter a prize draw to win a brand-new iPad (11th gen) when the survey closes in December 2025. Entry to the draw is optional.
Ms Robson said that by contributing, pest professionals will help shape the future of their industry and ensure the sector continues to have a strong, united voice.
