BASF prepares for PestTech 2025

BASF, will once again return to PestTech this November, where the team will be celebrating the fifth anniversary of its revolutionary rodenticide Selontra, sharing an unmissable one-off seminar on the biggest secrets in pest control, and showcasing its wide range of products for pest control professionals.

On the BASF stand, the team will include Laurence Barnard, Alex Wade and variety of special guests including some of its Selontra ambassadors, who will be available throughout the day to discuss practical control strategies and the latest developments in BASF’s rodenticide and insecticide portfolio.

Visitors will also be able to catch up with Sharon Hughes, BASF’s former global marketing manager, who returns to support the team following her retirement in 2024.

Pest professionals can expect to see special celebrations for BASF’s flagship rodenticide Selontra, including an exclusive promotion via Killgerm, as well as the newly relaunched Fendona showcased on stand.

The company’s team of experts will be on hand to provide technical guidance, answer product-specific questions, and offer best practice advice for a range of control scenarios.

A highlight of the day will be Laurence Barnard’s seminar, “The Biggest Secrets in Pest Control; PestTech Special”, taking place at 10am on the 2nd floor.

Mr Barnard’s talk is a follow-on from his popular “Magic Secrets” talk he has delivered throughout the year at the various NPTA On The Road days.

The session will tackle common industry misconceptions and share never-before-seen (or to be seen again!) insights and magic into the industry. With fresh content not previously presented at other events, the seminar promises to be thought-provoking and directly applicable to day-to-day professional practice.

Mr Barnard said: “PestTech is a real highlight in the calendar. It’s an opportunity not just to reconnect with familiar faces, but also to meet new professionals in the sector, share challenges and experiences, and check out the latest developments in the industry.

“Despite being a well-recognised speaker in the industry, this will actually be my first talk at PestTech, and I promise it’s going to be a good one! The session will encourage pest controllers to re-examine some of the things we often take for granted, and I hope it gives attendees the knowledge and confidence to make decisions that ultimately improve their results in the field.

“We’ll also be celebrating Selontra’s 5th anniversary on the stand, so make sure you swing by the BASF stand for a sweet treat!”
