News from PelGar International in Boston

Exhibiting at the PestWorld 2012 event in Boston, PelGar and its American distributor AB Bait Co. had more than one thing to cheer about!

Leading British manufacturer, PelGar, finds its products are a hit with PCOs across the pond

Apart from the glamour added to the stand by three of the New England Patriots cheerleaders, the last twelve months have seen the Brigand products taken on by more distributors to satisfy the growing demand among American PCOs for what is now one of the best rodenticides available in the USA.

Making an impact in the USA
“It was great to speak to so many pest controllers who have tried and tested the Brigand baits over the last twelve months,” comments Nic Blaszkowicz, PelGar’s marketing manager. “AB Bait has worked tirelessly over the last two years promoting the products at State shows across the US and the level of interest is clear to see.”

Brigand baits offer products with a difference – a highly palatable and moisture tolerant block has proved highly successful in all situations and has been especially liked in those States with high humidity and/or rainfall. Alongside this the lard-based soft bait has proved to be a favourite ‘clear-out’ bait in the US where other less palatable products have failed to gain control.

“Product quality is hugely important in the US,” explains AB Bait Co. president, Andrej Branc. “We are so confident in the products that we’ve been happy to send out free samples and the feedback and sales we get in return tell you how well they are going down with the operators.”

Aside from the North American attendees, South America was well represented – that”s another region where PelGar is gaining a lot of interest. “The number of key representatives from Latin America was very encouraging for PelGar’s international business,” said PelGar managing director Dr Gareth Capel-Williams. “With a number of registrations in the pipeline this is one region we are very keen to develop,” he concluded.
