Syngenta has appointed Jake Braithwaite to the role of technical manager for professional pest management (PPM) in the UK and Ireland, to support the company’s range of products and innovative digital technologies for pest control in commercial, residential and rural farm situations.
He brings a wealth of experience in product development and application as a field biologist within the Syngenta trials team. He has extensive knowledge and experience of providing technical and trials support taking early-stage R&D, through to commercial product delivery for customers.
Commenting on his appointment, Mr Braithwaite said: “The role of technical manager combines the technical expertise developed as a field biologist, with my passion for supporting customers and commercial teams.
“I’m excited by the opportunity to provide technical leadership for the pest management industry that delivers practical guidance and champions responsible product stewardship. That will build a strong, resilient set of science-based solutions that address evolving customer needs and regulatory requirements.”
