News from PelGar International in Paris

It was a first for PelGar in Paris. Having attended Parasitec, one of Europe’s premier pest control events, for many years as a visitor, 2014 was time for PelGar to take the stand and exhibit its products to the international market that attends the show.

PelGar International has been a supplier to the European market since its origins back in the early 1990’s and in recent years the company has gone from strength-to-strength, supplying both concentrates for local manufacture as well as its high quality finished products made in the UK. PelGar has invested heavily in regulatory support over the years and has complete dossiers on the three key rodenticide actives – difenacoum, bromadiolone and brodifacoum – as well as a range of formulations all of which have been fully supported through the biocides regulations in Europe.

“We have had visitors from all over Europe and further afield to our stand,” commented PelGar’s European sales manager Vincent Russo. “As well as some of our existing customers, Parasitec provided an opportunity to meet up with people from Germany, Greece, Poland and Turkey to name just a few. The show generated some very promising contacts and a lot of interest was shown in our fantastic rodenticide range which we were showcasing on the stand. There will certainly be a lot to follow up on when I am back in the UK,” Vincent continued.

“PelGar has increased its international presence significantly over the past few years both at the shows it has attended and through the expanding sales team,” commented PelGar’s global marketing manager, Nic Blaszkowicz. “Shows like Parasitec provide an excellent opportunity to gain further understanding of the international marketplace and to see some of our customers exhibiting in their home territories”.

The Paris show nearly completes the year’s exhibitions for PelGar having had a presence at both Eurocido in Germany and PestWorld which took place in Orlando, Florida, USA a few weeks ago. The final show for PelGar will be Growtech in Antalya, Turkey which runs from the 3-6 December. So be sure to visit if you have not had a chance to catch up with PelGar yet this year.
