are helping us take the temperature of UK pest management

Pest has again teamed up with market research specialists, Research Engine. Founded by Mike Heisig and Christopher Horne, Research Engine offers a full spectrum of market research services. The company will be adding its considerable expertise to help manage, validate and analyse the 2019 results.

Pest associate editor Helen Riby says: “Research Engine’s contribution in validating and analysing the replies in 2018 really added value to the findings. We are delighted they are lending their expertise again. But, we can’t deliver really useful results unless pest professionals take part. The more people who join in, the more useful the data is to everyone, so please do take part. It should only take 15 or 20 minutes to complete.”

Usng Reserach Engine’s bespoke system, this year’s questionnaire is slicker and easier to fill in than ever.

Only one of its kind
This survey is the only one of its kind in the UK. It records the fortunes of UK professional pest managers and practitioners. It measures whether things are getting better, or worse and provides a picture of which pests are thought to be on the up and which are down.

All the information provided is treated as confidential and no comments are ever attributed to individuals.

The results are made freely available and allow individuals to benchmark their activities and opinions and to gain a better understanding of the industry as a whole. The information is also useful to those who lobby government on behalf of the pest management sector.
